Adale district borders with the other districts of the same region such as Warshiikh, Balcad, Jowhar and Adan-yabal. Adale district town is 150 km away from Mogadishu and lies just at the sea coast with a long beach.
Cadale town is 150 km away from Mogadishu through Warshiikh district town which is half way between Cadale and Mogadishu. Up to Warshiikh town (70km), the condition of the road is relatively good. But, the road condition in the distance between Warshiikh towns to Adale is a bit sandy. In the case of the security checking points, there are only three between Mogadishu and Warshiikh. No other security checking points are seen throughout the road Al- shabaab presence in the district is limited to only two villages namely: Masaajid Ali-guduud and Wargaadhi( District Commissioner) 60 and 90 KM

Community mobilization is an integral part of conveying effective communication through especial sessions, house to house mobilization interpersonal communication and vehicles, mounted with megaphones to inform and educate and convince communities to demand OPV vaccination with their children and influence attitude and social change. They will promote positively the polio vaccination activities.
OPV and Albendazole will be provided during this round. under 5 children will be the target.
So that we have focused religious and other influential people, women, parents as well as other influential community leaders in our respective locations, because this will facilitate vaccinators to get children ready at their homes for vaccination.
